Granted 15 October 1604 by William Camden, Clarenceux King of Arms.

History:
The Musicians received Ordinances in 1350 and were incorporated in 1500. Awards are made to singers, composers, advanced organ students and students at schools of music throughout the country including the military schools such as the Royal Naval College of Music and Kneller Hall. There are also other charitable funds for musical objects. The Livery numbers about 150.
