On the dexter side an Indian proper crowned with an Eastern Crown Or vested round the middle with Feathers pendent alternately Argent and Gules holding over his shoulder a Bar of Silver, and on the sinister side a Man vested proper in his sinister hand a Hank of Silk Argent

These arms are self-assumed and are of no authority.

History:
The drawing of fine gold-coated silver thread for use in brocade and later in uniforms is now reduced to a single maker. The Charter was granted in 1693 and the Livery in 1780. The trade is still represented in the Livery of about 350. The principal charity is the London Homes for the Elderly.
