Arms granted 12 October 1467 by William Hawkeslowe, Clarenceux King of Arms; Crest granted 1486 by Sir Thomas Holme, Clarenceux King of Arms; the whole confirmed 12 October 1530 by Thomas Benolt, Clarenceux King of Arms and recorded at the Visitation of 1568.

History:
In 1371 a petition by the Arrow Makers to be separated from the Bowyers was accepted and ordinances granted in 1403. Archery is still supported by prizes for Royal Toxophilite Society competitions and help provided for disabled archers to obtain special equipment. Charities are directed towards the City and archery. The Livery numbers about 110.

The former Hall existed in St Mary Axe at the beginning of the 16th century burnt down in 1666 and not rebuilt. The site was not sold until 1933.
