History:
Following immigration of French fan makers, the Company received its first Charter in 1709. The craft was at its peak in the 18th century. Now it gives prizes to the National College of Heating, Ventilating, Refrigeration and Fan Engineering, also for fan design in London schools, and supports aeronautical research at Cranfield College of Technology. The Livery numbers about 195.

As a Hall the parish hall of St Botolph Without Bishopsgate has been shared with the church since 1952. The building was a former schoolroom dating from 1861. it has been extensively restored and redecorated and includes oak panelling of 1726. The dining capacity is 80.
