History:
Mentioned in 1371 on separation from the Fletchers; received a Charter in 1621. The trade had disappeared but there weas a long history of support for Cambridge University. Medals and prizes are given for archery contests. The Livery numbers about 75.

A former Hall at the corner of Hart Street and Monkwell Street was burnt down in 1666.
