[Upon a Helm on a Wreath of the Colours] A Cradle therein a Child rocked at the head by a Girl and at the feet by a Boy both vested proper

On either side a Griffin Argent armed and langued Gules gorged with a Collar of Basketwork Or

Arms, Crest and Motto granted 12 October 1931; Supporters granted 1978.

History:
An operative craft Company constituted in 1569. Livery was granted in 1825 and a Royal Charter in 1937. The Company is interested in blind craftsmen and technical training and encourages the craft and apprentices. It is now very strong in the City civic field with a Livery of over 460 and many Freemen.
