History:
Established in 1929 and granted its Livery in 1956. It is composed of qualified and experienced pilots and navigators and promotes the highest standards of air safety and professional competence. It gives authoritative advice to Government, makes twelve awards for distinguished service and has a benevolent fund. The Livery numbers about 400 plus 1,200 Freemen.
