Heraldic Media is the trading name of Heraldic Media Limited, which was formed in December 1997 with an initial capital of £100. Since then the directors have invested £160,000 of their own funds in the company to fund the planning, researching, writing and producing Cracroft's Peerage. The company is now at a stage when it needs to raise £50,000 in further funds (a) to capitalize on the enormous amount of hard work and effort that has gone in to producing Cracroft's Peerage by marketing the product as widely as possible and by expanding the information content to continue and enhance the product's appeal to future subscribers; and (b) to start looking at and planning other projects in accordance with the company's Mission Statement.
As a private limited company incorporated in England & Wales and registered under the Companies Acts, Heraldic Media Limited is prohibited by clause 4(c) of its Articles of Association from inviting the public to subscribe for any shares or debentures in the company. However that does not preclude anyone who would like to invest in Heraldic Media Limited from applying for shares in the company.
The directors would like to stress that any investment in a company such as Heraldic Media Limited is entirely speculative and should be seen as being of a long term nature. Any investment in Heraldic Media Limited by a UK based taxpayer would be allowable for tax relief at basic rate under the Enterprise Investment Scheme. The minimum investment is £500.
